Chef Noble and Eric Solomon

our selection

The first time Chef Noble tasted wine paired with food, his life changed. It was Napa Valley in 1982, and it’s where the vision for his restaurant, J. Basul Noble in High Point, N.C., came to life. He was enamored by the incredible marriage of food and wine to bring out flavors and enhance the experience.

At Rooster’s, we’ve meticulously selected (and are constantly refining) our wine lists to best pair with our culinary offerings.
The most “popular” wines that have “scored the most points” are not what drives us. Our goal is to open our guests’ eyes to the world of wine showcasing small production, high quality producers and importers with a focus on wines from Italy, France, Spain and the U.S. Many of our wines are imported through our friend, Eric Solomon, of European Cellars, who has been recognized worldwide for his ability to find exceptional wines from family-owned properties that practice responsible viticulture.

This is where we highlight a new bottle every few months, an Eric Solomon Selection, and pass along a generous price break to you to share in the joy of food and wine, and discovering new favorites.

In collaboration with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center, we have produced a custom Pinot Noir made in a Willamette Valley, Oregon winery. $1 from every bottle sold in our restaurants is donated to the Dream Center to support their work in the community.
