Farmers & Sources

Our seasonally-inspired menu is a tribute to all the craftsmen, artisans and small local farmers that we have built strong relationships with over the years. We are able to source the finest our region has to offer, but also push the boundaries by working in concert with our growers to cultivate specialty crops and heirloom varieties exclusively for our restaurants. With farmers like Dane Fisher, whose family has been farming their land outside of Richfield, NC since 1933, we get our spring fava beans that he grows exclusively for Rooster’s. Also Sammy Koenigsberg from New Town Farms is working with our chefs to grow us little gem lettuces and a variety of other vegetables. Our head baker, Sam Stachon, at The King’s Bakery is also in elite company as one of only three chefs in the country working with Anson Mills organic barley malt that is in our breads, along with Sean Brock of Husk in Charleston and renowned chef Thomas Keller.
